Parking at Gjende
Park safely at Reinsvangen when you plan to hike Besseggen, or explore other trails in the Gjende area in Jotunheimen.
Shuttle bus
The shuttle bus drives continuously from the parking lot in the morning, with returns from Gjendeosen to Reinsvangen every 30 minutes from 3 p.m.

Calculate ample time for parking at Reinsvangen when you’re taking the shuttle bus to Gjendeosen.
The Gjendeboats
The Gjendeboats has several daily departures from Gjendesheim to Memurubu (Besseggen) and Gjendebu. Remember to order tickets before you get there.
