With us, you can park safely before taking the shuttle bus to Gjendeosen to hike the legendary Besseggen, stunning Knutshøe, or explore the enchanting cultural landscape along one of the many easily accessible hiking trails in the area.

At Gjendeosen, you can fuel up before and after your mountain expedition. Here, you can also grab our own Besseggen Lunch Pack, a fresh pack with assorted toppings, local food, and fruit. A perfect hiking companion with great flavors.

For many, Valdresflya Café is a natural pit stop for some road-trip food on the way back from the hike. Here, you can buy both breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Or why not take some fresh pastries with you for the rest of the car journey?

The mountain terminal at Gjende, including the pier, café, restroom facilities, shuttle bus, and parking lots, has been established by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens Vegvesen). Visit Gjende AS manages the two cafés, bus services, and parking lots on behalf of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
